Crock-pot White Chicken Chili

In light of the recent This is Us episode, perhaps crock-pots aren’t the most popular. But this Crock-pot White Chicken Chili is to… well, it’s great! Let’s break it down: Healthy-White-Chicken-Chili-recipe-500x749@2x

Preparation: Moderate. You will have to go to the store to buy some of these ingredients (e.g. canned diced green chilies) but most are probably already in your pantry (e.g. cumin, oregano, cayenne pepper). In terms of chopping–minimal. Most ingredients can just be thrown right into the crock-pot.

Cooking: Low/Easy. Set the crock-pot to the desired setting and just sit back!

Time: High. Because it is a crock-pot recipe, it means you won’t be having it right away. This is  a slow-cook recipe and will take a good chunk of the day to cook.

Taste: High/AMAZING. Definitely one of my husband’s new comfort foods. (And he’s picky!) It’s hearty without being overly filling. The taste is such a treat for your taste buds that you forget it’s also pretty good for you!
